
Command and Control - Initial Operations
This 8-hour course is designed to fine tune the organizational and tactical skills of the first arriving supervisor as well as chief officer on EMS incidents, motor vehicle collisions, structure and wildland fires. Based on the National Fire Academies Command and Control courses, this one day program focuses on organizing the incident. Topics include incident management, size-ups, strategic decision-making, tactics, and personnel safety. Scenarios and hands-on field training are used throughout the day to reinforce tactical decision-making and organizational skills. This is an exciting and active class that is guaranteed to hone your fire officers tactical and management skills.
