​Commencing in 2007 Jordan and fellow cadre instructor Erik Wennstrom began volunteering their time quarterly with the Adventuress crew. With focus on EMS, water rescue, firefighting skills, and equipment development, instructors and crew continue to fine tune the program. Sitting topsides on a teak deck aboard a 100-year-old two masted schooner teaching a crew of 10-15 vibrant young sailors is a true joy. That said, after 10 years of volunteer work, the instructors are now fully compensated.
