Commencing in 2007 two of our instructors volunteered their time quarterly with the Adventuress crew of volunteers. With focus on emergency medical and water rescue training, basic firefighting skills, and equipment development, instructors helped to streamline the program. Sitting topsides on a teak deck aboard a 100-year-old two masted schooner teaching a crew of 10-15 vibrant young sailors is certainly a joy. Since 2018 our instructors have been compensated.
